A Chinese Famille Rose
Plate.
c.1740-60.

A Chinese export
porcelain famille rose decorated plate, 22.5cm. diameter.
Well painted with peonies and other flowers to the centre and
rim. The edge of the rim with an uncommon blue enamel border
pattern. It has no marks.

Condition
Good, no cracks just some
fritting to the edge of the rim. |

A larger sized
Chinese export plate painted in a vibrant underglaze blue with a
charming scene of
a boy showing his mother a fish he has presumably caught as she
stands beneath a willow tree holding a large basket.
Measures 26cm. diameter. The back is undecorated and
unmarked. Dates from c.1760-80. |
Condition
Quite good, just a
stress crack contained within the footrim and a firing fault to
the back of the rim.

Floral Decoration. |
A
Chinese export porcelain plate dating from around
1750. Painted in famille rose enamels with a a large peony
and other flowers to the central well. The rim decorated with
alternate diaper pattern, flowers on a seeded ground and
Buddhist emblems. Measures 22.8cm. diameter. The
plate has no marks.

Condition
A little fritting to the edge of the rim. No cracks or repairs.

A Chinese Imari Plate.
Kangxi Period. c.1700 |
An attractive
Chinese Imari palette plate dating from the Kangxi period, early
18th. Century. Decorated to the centre with flowers and foliage
with chrysanthemum, peony and other flowers. The cavetto and rim
with diaper patterns, symbols, and flowering plants. The back of
the rim decorated with sprigs and chrysanthemum flower heads.
There is a symbol mark within a double circle in underglaze
blue. Measures 21.7cm. diameter.

Condition
Good, just typical fritting
to the edge of the rim.
